VANNES- August 27th ,2012

A morning walk along the coastal path from Vannes harbour to Séné, the neighbouring town.Near the end of the walk, I go past a farm at Rosvellec and that's where I take my photos.A brown butterfly, the Speckled Wood and flowers which I think are  Sea Mayweed, but I am not sure. Then I hear lots of shrill noises coming from a ditch. I can see the grass moving but no animal yet.A few minutes later , two weasels pop out and run very fast down the path. Startled, I can't get any good shots of them. Then I notice a wheatear in a field close to the path. I normally use a NikonD90 with a 200-500mm Tamron lens to photograph birds but I don't take that gear when I just want to have a walk. Then I carry something less bulky, a NikonD50 with a 70-300mm lens. That's what I use to capture the wheatear.
