BEMPTON CLIFFS- July 23rd 2012

At seven in the morning, we set off on the long drive to Bempton on the east coast. The traffic is terrible and when we get there we are a bit disappointed. Not many gannets flying about and wheeling over the edge of the cliffs but a lot of small flies. I take a few shots of the birds perched on a spur jutting out from the cliff-face down below.I like the attitudes of the juveniles as they almost lie on their backs next to the adult birds.
