Sunday afternoon near Lorient. I take my mother for a drive along the scenic coastal road between Fort-Bloqué and Guidel-Plages. I park the car on the roadside by the nature and game reserve at Petit-Loch and I take my mother's little dog for a walk round the lake. The weather is dull and very windy.I take a few hurried shots of butterflies as they flit from flower to flower. The dog doesn't like it there, in the tall grass with maybe a few thistles too and starts to walk away. I give up. I like the colours in these images even though the shots are not sharp enough. The pale yellow one is a Small White. The orange one is a Small Copper.
