We spent the day at Pennington Flash where we took photos from Bunting hide. There were bullfinches, reed buntings and willow tits. We also heard a chiffchaff and a garden warbler. Then we went to Moore nature reserve where we saw a lesser spotted woodpecker at the top of a very tall tree. Near the path, we noticed a pair of wrens flying about in the deep shade of a tree and sometimes flying down to a hole in an old stone wall. I only managed to capture one of them when it flew onto one of the top branches of the tree where it was sunny.We heard a cuckoo at Moore.
Nous avons passé la journée à Pennington Flash où nous avons pris des photos depuis Bunting hide. Il y avait des bouvreuils, des bruants des roseaux et des mésanges boréales. Nous avons aussi entendu un pouillot véloce et une fauvette des jardins.Plus tard , nous sommes allées dans la réserve naturelle de Moore où nous avons vu un pic épeichette tout en haut d'un grand arbre.Près du sentier, nous avons remarqué un couple de troglodytes qui volaient ici et là dans l'ombre épaisse d'un arbre et qui parfois descendaient pour pénétrer dans un trou dans un vieux mur de pierre.Je n'ai réussi à prendre une photo de l'un d'eux que lorsqu'il s'est posé sur une des branches du haut , là où il y avait du soleil.A Moore , nous avons entendu un coucou.
