I spent a few hours at Le Hézo where I took quite a few photos when walking along a path leading to a former birdwatching hide which was rubbished by some local youths.There , in a field I thought I was taking shots of a couple of pretty butterflies clinging to the stem of a daisy but when I got home , I realized there was a third creature there , right at the top. It was a crab-spider( misumena vatia) which had captured one of the butterlies. These tiny spiders can change colour so as to camouflage better when lying in wait for their preys.The butterflies were glanville fritillaries.
J'ai passé quelques heures au Hézo où j'ai pris pas mal de photos en suivant un sentier qui mène jusqu'à un ancien observatoire qui a été vandalisé par des jeunes du coin. Là, dans un champ, je croyais prendre des photos de deux jolis papillons accrochés à la tige d'une marguerite mais quand je suis rentrée chez moi, j'ai réalisé qu'il y avait une troisième créature, tout en haut. C'était une araignée-crabe ( misumena vatia), plus précisément une araignée citron qui avait capturé l'un des papillons. Ces araignées minuscules peuvent changer de couleur afin de mieux se camoufler quand elles guettent leurs proies.Les papillons étaient des Mélitées du plantain.
