I love going on a day-trip to Anglesey. It is a beautiful island. There is something about the quality of the light there that delights me. We usually stop at South Stack where you can watch lots of birds on the cliff-face and on the heather and rocks at the top.Often , in the distance you can watch a ferry-boat from Ireland about to dock in Holyhead.On that particular day , we enjoyed watching two dolphins swimming very close to the lighthouse.We saw razorbills and pipits. Also five choughs flying about the rocks at the top of the cliff.Later on , we went to Cemlyn Bay on the northern coast where we saw wheatears , ringed plovers and terns.
J'aime beaucoup aller en excursion pour la journée à Anglesey. C'est une belle ile. Il y a quelque chose dans la qualité de la lumière qui me ravit. Nous nous arrêtons habituellement à South Stack pour commencer.On peut y voir beaucoup d'oiseaux sur la falaise et parmi la bruyère et les rochers du haut de la falaise.Souvent , au loin , apparait un ferry en provenance d'Irlande sur le point d'accoster à Holyhead.Ce jour-là, nous avons eu le plaisir d'observer deux dauphins qui nageaient tout près du phare.Nous avons vu des pingouins torda et des pipits. Egalement cinq craves à bec rouge qui volaient au-dessus des rochers du sommet.Plus tard, nous sommes allées à Cemlyn Bay sur la côte nord.Nous y avons vu des traquets motteux, des grands gravelots et des sternes.
