Sanderling/ Bécasseau sanderling

I am taking photos of a flock of sanderlings running up and down the beach as they do when foraging when I notice one that looks peculiar. I soon become fascinated by its hunched-up and scruffy appearance and its agressive behaviour. It keeps rushing at other sanderlings as if to chase them away from its patch.

Je prends des photos d'une troupe de sanderlings qui courrent de haut en bas de la plage ainsi qu'ils le font quand ils se nourrissent qhand je remarque un individu un peu étrange. Je suis vite fascinée par son apparence , le dos rond et le plumage ébouriffé et par son comportement agressif.Sans cesse il fonce sur les autres sanderlings comme pour les chasser de sa zone privée.
