We are back on the rocky coastline for wheatears and kentish plovers. This time , the weather is sunny. We sit on the turf slope, facing the sea ( and the sun) and watch the birds running around and wait hopefully for them to come closer. Pipits and wagtails don't worry about us and come quite close but wheatears stay away . It is not easy to focus on them because of the surging waves of the Atlantic ocean behind them.
