It was easy to follow the movements of the wheatear because its plumage was glowing in the late afternoon sun. It was very mobile but most of the time it stayed too far away from where I was sitting. Eventually it did come closer for a short while before someone walking on the rocks spooked all the birds and they all flew off.
C'était facile de suivre les mouvements du traquet motteux parce que son plumage resplendissait dans la lumière de fin d'après-midi.Il se déplaçait beaucoup mais la plupart du temps restait trop loin de l'endroit où j'étais assise. Par la suite il s'est approché pendant quelques minutes avant qu'un promeneur s'aventurant sur les rochers ne donne l'alarme à tous les oiseaux qui se sont envolés.
