On October 8th , I went to Suscinio , an area with reedbeds and ponds between the medieval castle and the long sandy beach. I heard a Cetti's warbler and a water-rail but I didn't see much. I watched two mute swans hoovering th e surface of a mucky pond ,covered with green stuff.There was also an egret wading there.It makes you wonder why they bother staying there.
Le 8 octobre, je suis allée à Suscinio , une zone de roselières entre le château médiéval et la longue plage de sable . J'ai entendu une bouscarle de Cetti et un râle d'eau mais je n'ai pas vu grand-chose . J'ai observé deux cygnes tuberculés balayant de leur bec la surface d'un étang recouverte d'algues (?) vertes.Il y avait également une aigrette .On se demande pourquoi ils s'embêtent à rester là.
