I was there early , hoping to capture a lot of nice birds among the gorse bushes, near Portivy. Unfortunately, the light became very bad as black thundery clouds took over the sky . I saw whitethroats posing well ,perched at the top of twigs above the bushes and took about eighty shots of them . The photos would have been fantastic if only the light had been better. Later on, it started to rain. I was driving along the coastal road when I noticed a whimbrel foraging in the grass , stopped to watch it and then decided to get out of the car to take a few shots, lying in the wet grass, and got back in immediately as I did not want my camera to get too wet. On my way back home, the weather improved and I got a few shots of a stonechat.
J'étais là de bonne heure , espérant prendre beaucoup de photos d'oiseaux intéressants parmi les buissons d'ajonc , près de Portivy.Malheureusement, la lumière est devenue très mauvaise avec des nuages noirs d'orage qui ont envahi le ciel.J'ai vu des fauvettes grisettes, perchées en haut de tiges au-dessus des buissons dans de très bonnes poses et j'ai pris environ quatre-vingts clichés. Les photos auraient été fantastiques si seulement la lumière avait été meilleure.Ensuite , il a commencé à pleuvoir. Je roulais le long de la route côtière quand j'ai repéré un courlis corlieu qui picorait dans l'herbe. Je me suis arrêtée pour l'observer et ai décidé de sortir de la voiture pour prendre quelques clichés , allongée dans l'herbe mouillée, et je suis rentrée dans ma voiture presque tout de suite parce que je ne voulais pas trop mouiller mon appareil photo.Sur le chemin du retour, le temps s'est amélioré et j'ai pris quelques photos de tarier pâtre.
