On March 16th, I crossed over to the island of Berder ( near Larmor-Baden) at low tide. I walked round the island and it was very enjoyable as the weather was very nice and sunny. This robin was the first bird to greet me from a tree as I started walking along the coastal path.A bit further on, I heard a wren singing on my left, some distance away from the path. I found the bird on a pile of logs and I tried to take a few shots ,with my back leaning against a tree-trunk.My photos of this wren are useless as they are all slightly blurred. My fault really as I didn't have any support and held the camera in my hands.Kim keeps saying I should always have a monopod when I go wandering about with my camera. Serves me right ,then.Towards the end of my walk , I noticed a few crested tits flitting about in a tree by the sandy shore but I did not manage to capture one.
Le 16 mars, je suis allée sur l'ile de Berder ( près de Larmor-Baden) à marée basse. J'ai fait le tour de l'ile à pied et c'était bien agréable , le temps étant bien ensoleillé.Ce rouge-gorge a été le premier oiseau à me saluer d'un arbre alors que je prenais le sentier côtier.Un peu plus loin, j'ai entendu le chant d'un troglodyte mignon sur ma gauche à une certaine distance du chemin. J'ai trouvé l'oiseau sur un tas de rondins et j'ai essayé de prendre quelques photos en m'adossant à un tronc d'arbre.Mes photos de ce troglodyte sont toutes inutilisables car elles sont légèrement floues . Par ma faute car je n'avais pas de support et je tenais l'appareil avec seulement les mains. Kim n'arrête pas de me dire que je devrais toujours prendre un monopode quand je vais me promener avec mon appareil photo.C'est donc bien fait pour moi. Vers la fin de ma promenade , j'ai repéré quelques mésanges huppées dans un arbre près du rivage sableux mais je n'ai pas réussi à en prendre une seule.
