Its name is Marmalade hover-fly ( Episyrphus balteatus) , a funny name for a hover-fly.There are about 5,000 species of hover-flies, so I was helped with its identification. One can see my reflection on its thorax! I like the overall very bright yellow of this image.
Il s'appelle Marmalade hover-fly ,un drôle de nom pour un bombyle ( marmalade=confiture d'orange). Il y a environ 5000 espèces de bombyles ,aussi j'ai eu de l'aide pour son identification.On peut voir mon reflet sur son thorax! J'aime le jaune très vif de l'ensemble de cette image.
