May 30th. We went to Riantec near Lorient . We saw this cirl bunting on and around a large gorse-bush , a few feet away from the sea . It stayed there all the time . A magnificent bird in the morning light and the colours of the gorse -flowers were stunning.
30 mai. Nous sommes allées à Riantec ,près de Lorient . Nous avons vu ce bruant zizi sur et autour d'un gros massif d'ajonc , à quelques mètres de la Petite Mer de Gâvres. Il restait là tout le temps. Un oiseau magnifique dans la lumière du matin et les couleurs des fleurs d'ajonc étaient stupéfiantes.
