Dippers fly very fast and close to the water . They can also walk underwater where they catch spawn and molluscs.They also feed on larvae and insects.

Les cincles volent très vite juste au dessus de l'eau. Ils peuvent également marcher sous l'eau où ils attrapent des oeufs de poisson et des mollusques. Ils se nourrissent également de larves et d'insectes.

I noticed that before they flew off from a rock towards the nest, they would bob up and down a few times as if wanting to gather momentum.

J'ai remarqué qu' avant de s'envoler d'un rocher en direction du nid, ils se balançaient d'avant en arrière comme s'ils voulaient prendre de l'élan.

We also saw grey wagtails which waded in very shallow water or perched on the rocks.They are beautiful birds with long tails which they tend to hold horizontal when they perch.

Nous avons également vu des bergeronnettes des ruisseaux qui marchaient là où l'eau était très peu profonde ou qui se perchaient sur des rochers.Ce sont de très beaux oiseaux avec une longue queue qu'ils ont tendance à garder horizontale quand ils se perchent.
